1. Good Evening performs at North Six on Sunday, September 10, at around 5:00 - 5:30, somewhere along those lines. This is a free, benefit performance for "Behind The Book".

2. I've tried and tried to get into "The Kite Runner", but it's just not doing anything for me. As today has been slow at work, I ventured down to the Borders next to the Kips Bay movie theater and picked up "The Keep" and "Special Topics in Calamity Physics".

3. Kath and I got our loan approved; our credit card debt will be completely wiped out by next week, and then we can pay back our loan at a much more manageable interest rate. Very, very necessary.

Yeah, I've not been posting much of late. Been kinda blah, and nobody wants to read about me being blah. I certainly don't want to write about it. Everything's fine, there's just nothing really journal-worthy.

Hope you're all well.
once you know whether "special topics in calamity physics" is worth reading, post it as such. i've heard good things about it and need to know if they're true :)
I am 88 pages in, and I'm pretty much ready to call it one of my favorite books of all time. I am astounded.
that does look good. too bad i just blew a wad on some books, and z's new book is coming out in another week or two.
What did you get? And yeah, I'm very excited for the new Z. (Wait, you're talking about this", right?)
there was a paperback deal at the local borders and borders, so i got 'kafka on the shore', 'nickel and dimed', and 'fast food nation'. i'm currently reading 'fast food' and it is, to say the least, illuminating.
