A pair of human skeletons lie in an eternal embrace at an Neolithic archaeological dig site near Mantova, Italy, in this photo released February 6, 2007. Archaeologists in northern Italy believe the couple was buried 5,000-6,000 years ago, their arms still wrapped around each other in a hug that has lasted millennia.

Were they buried alive or was the gravedigger (for want of a better term) a romantic at heart, and wrap their limbs before he poured the cold soil over them?
To be perfectly honest, the more I think about it, the more and more skeptical about this particular find I become. A week before Valentine's Day?

I wonder if this was a Romeo/Juliet suicide pact... or some sort of crazy sex thing gone wrong.
