who hearted?

I think today's PBF is pretty goddamned hilarious.

Which is not to say that I'm all cynical about VDay, or anything - I've got a date for the rest of my life, and I'm very much looking forward to tonight's dinner - it's just that Kath and I are gushy and mushy with each other every single day, and so today's artifice seems kinda stupid and redundant.

We saw our tax dude yesterday, and, as always, he hooked us up - we're getting around $2000 back, and he's got me totally hooked up for next year, in terms setting up deductions for of all my ProTools and other musical equipment stuff, in the event that this possible venture actually takes off.

We Netflix'd The Science of Sleep over the weekend; it was not what it could have been.  I am hopeful that we can get The Departed before too long; I'm sure I'm gonna end up buying it anyway, but I'd like to actually see it first.

I think that's it; work's been crazy busy, as per usual, though I'm managing to hang on.

science of sleep was one of my favorite movies of last year. just sayin...
I'm not saying I didn't like it; I'm just saying that as much as I love Michel Gondry and as much as I saw what he was trying to do with this film, it just didn't quite hit me as much as I'd wanted it to - and part of it was that, for me, about 3/4 of the way through, Stephan stopped being a sympathetic character and more of a whiny bitch / emotionally damaged manchild.
