I was debating whether I should vote before work or after work; if I voted after work, I'd be allowed to leave at 5:00 instead of 5:30, but if I voted before work, I'd actually be productive and not bouncing off the goddamned walls.

So I voted.  The turnout was pretty huge, as far as I could tell; certainly it was bigger than when I voted in the primary, although I did that vote after work, so I can't necessarily compare the two experiences as being equal.  It feels great, in any event.  Actually, it feels like I just did 3 shots of espresso.

Your post made me feel excited for you! I am really hoping that I don't hear a whole load of voting horror stories in the next few days - some friends of mine were anticipating 4+ hour lines in the South. It's insane.
