Moderate insanity at work today, which is fine. I'm on 53rd and Lexington, though, which is about 4 blocks north of that World Financial Forum (or whatever it's called), and there are cops all over the place. I walked up to Borders on 57th and Park because I had heard that the new Cornelius album had been released (and Borders is the only store in the area that would even possibly carry it), and I overheard a cop's walkie-talkie saying something about "biological weapons". The cops on the street seemed pretty laid back, though.

The Cornelius album was NOT in stock, unfortunately, but I did pick up The Shins' "Oh Inverted World", which I'm looking forward to listening to at some point. And I picked up some blank cassette tapes (is that redundant?), so hopefully tonight I'll get started on making some demos.
