Stomach problems, but nothing terribly unusual.

Bought the complete DC4C catalog the other day; woo-hoo.

My girlfriend has found a way for me to get my old diary, which was written on an ancient word processor, printed out and possibly converted to Word, which is just about the most fucking awesome thing ever. That's 4 years worth of diary, folks - look out.

Sketched out some new song ideas on the ol' 4-track - no lyrics or melody yet, though. No rush, of course. The way I look at it, I've got new stuff on tape that wasn't there before.

Being without LJ for extended periods of time really sucks. And it makes these little entries that much dumber. Although, to tell the truth, it's not like I've got a billion things to say right now. I'm in post-band, motivational mode, inventing a new creative process along the way, so I can sort of feel like I'm accomplishing something. The DC4C are great for this time, though - their songs are pretty effortlessly played and created. I mean, they're incredibly well-arranged, it's just that you don't listen to it and say, "Wow, listen to how complicated it is." Which I'm down with. The old band was way into making things a lot more complicated than they needed to be.

The tooth is hurting, again. One of these days I'll deal with it...
