My friends list seems to change every hour - and I can't figure out why.

I was supposed to see Episode II last night, but I decided to opt out. I can't stand how seriously people take this franchise. I've never been a ga-ga Star Wars fan, and there's nothing that annoys me more than going to see a movie and just having the whole experience rubbed in my face. Also, I hereby refuse to wait in a movie line that's longer than the actual movie. [Had I gone last night, I would have had to get in line at 6pm for the 10pm show.] So I'm gonna see it next week, when everybody calms down a little bit and I can see it without audience participation.

Tonight - insane 2-year anniversary dinner with the woman at Smith & Wollensky's, where the following things kick ass:

  • split-pea soup

  • bread

  • hash browns

  • tomato and onion

  • wine selection

  • THE STEAK

  • the bill, when one of my friends is our waiter

  • Yes, this weekend is our 2 year anniversary, which will be a personal record. I'm so very very pleased.

Finally, none of my lawyers are in the office today, which means that I have absolutely nothing to do. I'm contemplating skipping out early, but that wouldn't really make any sense, being that S&W is right up the street. Anyway, I might be bombarding LJ with random, inane posts today - then again, I might not.
