I did it. I caved in. I whipped out the plastic and bought a whole bunch of crap...
The Royal Tenenbaums: Criterion is the greatest company in the world. Fantastic packaging, including Eric Anderson's floor plan of the house. I spent last night watching all the special features on Disc 2 - found some funny easter eggs (Kumar spinning plates... Angelica Houston's hair catching fire... Bill Murray speculating on the future of the dalmation mice...) Tons of fun stuff for the obsessive WA/RT fan.
Ocean's 11: I rented this with the woman a month back or so and just totally loved it. Saw it last night with JDixon, and it still kicks major ass.
Zoolander: Guilty pleasure, perhaps, but I'm a sucker for all things Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson.
Blackalicious,"Blazing Arrow": Listened to the first half on this morning's commute - holy shit. jongre, have you heard this yet? If not, get it. Immediately.
Sonic Youth,"Murray Street": Listened to most of it last night during a minor insomnia attack - definitely hearkens back to classic "Daydream Nation"-ish songwriting. Their best album in years. I'm a big fan of "Washing Machine", and this is right up there with it.
