I seem to have crashed. I've been playing TextTwist (available at and elsewhere) for several hours, and I'm nearly catatonic now. I don't even care that the dictionary for that game is retarded.

I wonder if the sudden nasal congestion and headache is simply allergies or the onset of a fierce cold. Normally for me, the key in telling if I'm getting a cold is if it moves into the throat. So far, the coast is clear.

Lots of purchasing in store tomorrow, even if I'm trying to save money: Amelie DVD, Top Secret DVD, Flaming Lips... and I know that I'll end up getting a whole bunch of other stuff, too. Thank God I don't have to look for the Microphones anymore - now I just need to get my hands on some drugs. (That was a joke, Mom.)

The occasional drink or three notwithstanding, I've been stone-cold sober for 3 weeks now. The quitting smoking thing is pretty much cake at this point.

I'm going back to sleep - I mean, work. No, I mean sleep. My lawyers have this awful tendency to give me tons of work for a few hours and then nothing at all for the rest of the week. Or no work at all until 5:15pm. Currently, I'm in the "I busted my ass all morning, and now I'm spacing out" mode.
