*sigh* Yankee losses bring me down.

Today's been totally nuts. I went outside during lunch and almost didn't come back, although that had more to do with the weather. Tonight, after work, me and jdixon are gonna find a park and toss around a baseball. Spring fever, indeed. I'm kinda pissed off, though - I bought this great spring jacket a little while ago, and I'm rather pleased with it, but it seems that we've pretty much skipped right over spring and headed squarely in the middle of summer, making my jacket pretty much worthless.

Um, what else, what else... got my first official paycheck, and even though it's only for 1 week, it'll do. Rock. Um... Wednesday night I'm gonna jam and hang out with those guys I mentioned the other day... uh... yeah. That's all my brain can muster up right now.

Updated my interests; there were more than a few things that I could do without, and quite a bit more that I couldn't. Consequently, a few things have changed on my matching interests results. mega8000 is still the undisputed champ, though.

I'm really not capable of doing any more work today.

OK, this is just fucking retarded. For those of you who don't feel like clicking, MTV is apparently preparing a "Real World" parody show. Which is pretty hilarious to me, considering how closely the "Real World" mirrors the actual real world in the first place.

Maybe I'm just disgruntled and bitter and old, but the first season of the Real World was the only one that was actually interesting, because it wasn't just about beautiful white people flirting with their roommates. Then again, I'm probably not the best person to comment on the newer seasons, as MTV pretty much lost me forever when they stopped airing "Sifl & Olly". I'm an "Osbournes" fan, don't get me wrong, but I'm still a bit wary.

Dear ESPN.com,

I love your site. I read it even when I'm so tired that I can't see straight. I read it even when you make fun of the Yankees, although it hurts. But please - and I'm dead serious here - enough with the Ruben Rivera jokes. They've never been funny, not even the first 4000 times. And if you're 10 words under your count and you're so starved for material that you can't help yourself, at least make fun of Texas for signing him.
