The Wall Street Journal asks an important question for you to consider when making your vote this November: Is Obama too healthy to be President? The article itself is amazing on quite a number of levels, not the least of which is that it was actually deemed fit to publish. Surely nobody could have seen this kind of thing happening once Rupert Murdoch bought the WSJ! But leaving that aside, if there is actually a registered voter in this country who ultimately casts their vote for McCain not because Obama is a Negro, or because Obama is a Muslim, or because Obama wants to surrender to the terrorists, or because Obama is a Marxist who wants to take your guns away and kill your unborn babies, but because Obama isn't obese enough and is therefore out of touch with America, then that person should not be allowed to vote. Or breed. Actually, that person should be shot.

I'm also including the article's paragraph on McCain, because, after all, I want this to be a fair and balanced debate:

Though Sen. McCain cannot lift weights due to injuries he suffered as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, he "walked the Grand Canyon rim to rim in August 2006" and hikes whenever he can find the time, according to John D. Eckstein, an internist in Scottsdale, Ariz., who treats Sen. McCain. At roughly 165 pounds, his weight is slightly above average for a 5-foot-7-inch man his age, according to nutritionists.

Perfect! Gotta give kudos for (a) milking the Vietnam POW thing, again, (b) including an iconic American setting, the Grand Canyon, as a standard measurement of fitness, and (c) not mentioning the fact that McCain is 134 years old and is still under the mistaken impression that Czechoslovakia is still a country and that Pakistan shares a border with Iraq.
