My brain hurts from the editing I've been doing this morning. (It's very similar to what I quoted here.)

I got home from work yesterday and promptly played a few games in my season of World Series Baseball (currently 8-0, pitching staff has a 1.83 ERA); after that, I flipped channels for a little while before realizing that absolutely nothing was on; ended up recording a brand new song. Funny how that works. I pick up my guitar, fuck around for 20 minutes, and then suddenly something starts to emerge. I tracked vocals, guitar, drums and bass. I desperately need that digital 16-track or 24-track or whatever it is I decide on; this 4-track world is getting me down. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with this new song; maybe, if it slows down today, I'll try to write some lyrics.

I'm going to exercise massive restraint and NOT buy any Xbox games until I get paid next week. I'm also going to hold off on buying the ET DVD set that comes out today. However, I am takin' Kath out to dinner and Punch-Drunk Love tonight, which I'm really looking forward to. Is it possible that the last movie I saw in the theater was Men In Black II? Yes, I think it is. Gawd.

This is brilliant.
