Happy birthdays, jimf (today); mattstratton (tomorrow), and spooble (the 8th, like me).

It's true that I'm taking the 18th off from work to go see an afternoon showing of Two Towers with Kath. And if today continues to be as slow as the rest of the week has been, I'm seriously considering taking a looooooong lunch to go see Adaptation. I've been wanting to see this movie for an absurd amount of time.

Last night I finally re-organized my studio. When Kath moved in, we set up the apartment so that we each had our own little office space - mine was supposed to be my little crappy recording studio. The problem is, I hardly spent any time in it; I don't know if it was a lack of feng shui or whatever, but it just didn't have any vibe to it. So last night I mixed things up - with Kath's design scheme. I don't know if it'll get me recording again, but it's making me want to hang out in it. There's a lot more floor space and the recording equipment is now the main focus of the room, whereas before it was just hulking away in the corner...

My nasty, bronchial cough is finally starting to go away. Thanks, Robotussin.

Tonight: clean apartment.
Tomorrow: party!
