I'm not exactly hungover, but I'm not exactly awake, either. There was a tremendous amount of merriment and birthday-related drinking this weekend, but I just want to go back to sleep...

Party on Saturday night was awesome. We fit 20+ people very comfortably in the apartment, as well as the cutest little blue-haired chiahuaua.

Slept in Sunday morning; ex-LJer JDixon crashed at our house before hightailing it back to Albany. Kath and I went to Best Buy where I proceeded to hemorrhage cash:

Austin Powers 3-pack
Close Encounters 2-disc SE
Glengarry Glenross SE
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
Mr. Coffee machine

And then we wandered home, ordered dinner, drank heavily, Jono came over, drank and smoked more, watched Sopranos... passed out.

A marvelous birthday weekend. Tonight is the company holiday party, but since neither of my 2 office friends will be there, I'm now considering bailing. Rumors are flying around the office that our party is the last thing that the formerly-Britney-owned NYLA will do before closing up for good. I'm not sure that one drink on the company dime at a soon-to-be-closing health-code-violating restaurant is incentive enough to "hang out" with these "people".
