1. For whatever reason, I normally associate Modest Mouse's "The Moon & Antarctica" with autumn, but it made for a fantastic soundtrack to this morning's commute - today is a beautiful spring day and "TM&A" is bursting with good vibes.

2. On a related note, I'd like to follow jenburgess's lead and give a shout out to The Stone Roses' "Second Coming", which might not be the masterpiece its predecessor is but is still, nonetheless, a kick-ass record.

3. On an unrelated note, I finally met my "new" boss this morning; he's a good guy and certainly a lot more laid back than I'd anticipated.
