1. God, I hate going to the dentist.

2. Kath and I were flipping around the tube and landed on "Scratch", which might not be a great documentary but certainly got me digging out DJ Shadow's "Entroducing...", which I don't think I'll ever get tired of.

3. I need a book. I've been trying to read Gregory Maguire's "Lost", but I can't get through more than a few pages without being incredibly bored. I haven't read "Wicked" or "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister", and I certainly don't plan to anymore.

4. Must remember to do taxes this weekend.

5. I'm excited for baseball season to start, because spring training is just brutal.
Yeah, I'm not sure how great a documentary Scratch really is, but at the very least, it's an entertaining and impressive display of some of the people who are really, really into doing that shit. I don't think I'll ever tire of watching Roc Raida's shit.

Lost is by far one of his worst I read. I only ploughed through it because Wicked was so good. So try it instead. But forget about the other ones... They're like weak stabs at trying to be Wicked.
I loved Running With Scissors, an autobiography by Augusten Burroughs and both Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (I didn't even think they were overhyped *gasp*) as well as Naked by David Sedaris. All were excellent. The first and the last were new, quirky autobiographical life accounts. The middle two were somewhere between mystery and history and art and literature and religion and amazing.
