2. ...or maybe it's because "Opening Day" is tomorrow morning. I don't think I'm going to wake up at 5:00am to see the first pitch, but I don't have Tivo and I'd really like to see some of it. I think I can miss the first hour and not feel too guilty about it. To be honest, I think it's completely and utterly stupid for the Yankees to be doing MLB any favors, and I think it's borderline criminal to feature Arod and Sheffield's first Yankee ABs at 5am on a Tuesday. Whatever. I love baseball more than I hate Bud Selig.
3. Life Without Money, Day 5: I'm down to my last $13 until payday. Stupid taxes. I'd really appreciate my federal refund one of these days.
4. According to our www.theknot.com page, there are 55 days until the wedding.
5. Had some awesome run-ins with long-lost people recently; I ran into my friend Carrie in the 7/F subway tunnel last week, who just moved back into NYC after a long stint in LA; later that same day, I got a Friendster e-mail from Scott, the drummer in my high school band. Later that week, I finally made it to an iVillage drinkathon, and while the turnout wasn't as monsterous as its been in years past, it was still nice to see old faces.
Even though I've given up coffee, I think I need some. I'm falling asleep.
