Thank you, iTunes. This morning, before I left for work, I downloaded the new Tortoise (It's All Around You - kind of a shame that I had to download it, as the cover art is extraordinary) and the new Modest Mouse (Good News For People Who Love Bad News). Both are pretty good, although neither of them are as immediately gratifying as each band's most recent previous albums (i.e., Standards and The Moon and Antarctica, respectively). That's an awkward way of phrasing that, I know, but I'm very very tired.
