I forgot to mention earlier that I have a new favorite magazine: GIANT. Kath was given their first issue when she was in the hospital, and I took a look at it the other day. Cover story: Jack Black. Interview/pictorial with Christina Ricci. Review of Doom 3. Loads of tiny cool features, including an interview with the Get Fuzzy cartoonist and the DVD collections of various young screenwriters.

Anyway, this morning I saw that the new issue is on sale. Cover story: Owen Wilson. Interview/pictorial with Parker Posey. Review of Halo 2. Bonus features with Kevin Spacey, Sammy Jankis from Memento, Harry Knowles. Jimmy Kimmel's favorite bookmarks. An interview with Randall Poster, the music supervisor on Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums and School Of Rock - including his iTunes "Recently Played" List.

Giant is basically Maxim without boobies but with more geekery. It's PERFECT.
