The book was pretty good, although it's pretty clear, having read a few of Dan Brown's books, that he is a one-trick pony - see, for example, the first few chapters of both Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, where nearly the exact same thing happens. I'm wary of Ron Howard - he's responsible for both Arrested Development and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Tom Hanks - well, whatever, I like him. But let's just have props for the casting director to get both Jean Reno and Audrey Tatou involved.
