Bad: I'm in for some more dental surgery. Well, not really, but I went to the dentist today and got fitted for a partial denture. I've basically got only one tooth on my lower left jaw, which is eventually going to tilt over from all the pressure if it doesn't get any support. This was the cheapest of 3 options I could get, the others being a either a permanent bridge or an implant that requires a screw being surgically inserted into my jaw. Good times.
Good, again: My copy of Jade Empire arrived today, which was a bit of a surprise, as ebgames.com didn't even have a tracking number for it this morning. I was in such an adrenaline-laden state when I got out of the dentist's office that I used my Virgin gift card on Midnight Club III, a game that I really don't need but wanted to have anyway. I tend to feel a need to reward myself whenever I get out of the dentist's office, even though my dentist is probably the best doctor I've ever had in my entire life.
Even better: We finally - FINALLY - finished the artwork for the EP, and David sent off the final package for manufacturing. So. Freaking. Excited.
Wierd: The other day I noticed that the opening track on the last 3 CDs I've worked on all have 3 things in common - they're all mid-tempo songs in B, they all feature a guitar freakout at the end, and I didn't write any of them. At some point I'll get around to putting up mp3s of this.
