Pretty quiet weekend. The heat was relentless, so I spent as much of it indoors as possible. I did ultimately succumb and get World of Warcraft, but as it happens I also did quite a bit of music - the computer and the studio are in the same room, after all, and when I needed a break from the game I screwed around with some loops. Saturday night we went out to FluxFactory, near our old apartment, where there was a cool art event - Paintball By Numbers. There was no air conditioning, which made the whole thing somewhat brutal, but the concept was pretty awesome and it was fun to see it in action. I had a near-OINY moment, where two sweaty hipsters left the room right before it started and one said to the other, "It's about to get explosively creative."
