If you love someone, set them on fire

1. The results are in... the_zoo wins iPod war #2. Congratulations! And for what it's worth, everyone had really kick-ass lists, even poor moozeekfan, who got shut out. Next time, it's check boxes instead of radio buttons. If there is a next time.

2. Anyway, my iPod will be that much better prepared, as I downloaded Stars, "Set Yourself on Fire" last night; featuring at least one member of Broken Social Scene, and having a very streamlined, clutterless BSS feel. Great album.

3. Good Evening had a productive meeting last night; our one-sheet will be completed at tonight's songwriting session, which I'm really excited about. There's drama, as there always is, but at least we have a plan of action - and, more importantly, a schedule.

4. I am weak, and a whore, and I succumbed. But they're so goddamned cute!

5. I gotta say that I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the Unit beat the phenom last night. I'm not giving up on the Yankees just yet, but had they lost last night, it would've been a rough scene. Nice to see that the acquisition of Unit wasn't a complete waste of money. I just hope he can bring that heat against a team with a winning record.
