Alive again. Caught Kath's cold last week and was pretty much dead to the world on Thursday/Friday... then recovered and played the gig Saturday night, which went pretty well - good draw, good $$, but the monitors sucked and none of us could hear anything. We videotaped the show, and the guys came over on Sunday and we watched it, eager to see if we are, in fact, giant dorks. (Good news - we aren't, for the most part.)

Sunday night we braved the cold and decided to check out the cool-looking bar near our apartment; it is, in fact, an awesome bar and I will be going there often. Great vibe - it's all couches, plus the seats at the bar, and a pretty decent single-malt selection. Plus, good food! All it's missing is a pool table and a jukebox. I wonder if they show Yankee games in the summer?

And then yesterday we ran some errands along Steinway, and spontaneously had lunch in a cafe on 30th Ave, and I am in love with my neighborhood and sad that everyone lives in Brooklyn. You guys don't know what you're missing!
