SO. Gig tonight. I'm at around 80% health-wise, even though I've got this wierd jittery feeling that may or may not be related to the Robotussin this morning. The show is early, though - we're slated for 7:30, which probably means 8, and if we play a 40-minute set and we take a cab home I can be safely in bed by 10, while Kath gets caught up on Lost on DVR.

Speaking of which, the gig! It's an early show! You might not miss that much of Lost! (And if you're like me, you won't give a shit because you know it's just going to end with a ridiculous cliffhanger!) Also, Randy Johnson is pitching tonight so you know the Yankees are going to lose anyway!

tonight! 7:30pm

I've got a good feeling about the show tonight. We've been playing really well in rehearsal - we've been playing loose, which is great, and as a result we've started opening up the older material a bit and it all sounds really fresh and alive. I'm hoping that we're able to allow ourselves that same looseness on stage - we tend to get very tight and self-aware and as a result we cut ourselves off. Anyway. I still think it'll be a good show. PLUS we'll have 3 prospective drummers in the audience.

Back to work. And sneezing.
