I waited and waited for my Vox invite to show, and it never did. But I was able to start one up anyway, and it can be found here. I'm going to be using it to keep track of my progress as I work on the album. If you're already there, send me a "whatever-it-is-you-send-people-on-Vox" thingy. And if not, well, ok.

I'm procrastinating at the moment; I'm supposed to be working on translating my boss's handwriting into a flowchart, which I can't do because (a) I would need Visio to be specially installed on my computer, which could take hours/days and (b) I suck at Powerpoint and it could take hours/days before I figured out what to do. So I'm simply waiting for my boss to get back to me so that I can take this thing down to the WP department and let THEM deal with it.

I was all set for a long night reading "Against The Day", but I happened to hear a snippet of something while Kath was watching TV in the other room and suddenly I found myself working on a new song. I was debating mixing it down and passing around for your perusal, but it's still in a very early stage - what I can tell you is that it's very Secret Machines-y, right down to the keyboard bass line, and I'm really looking forward to finishing it.

Blah blah blah.
And by that I mean LET ME KNOW IF I CAN BECOMES INVOLVERED IN SECRAT MACHINZ GOODNESS.

IM IN UR STUDIO FCKIN SHT UP
While you're waiting for Visio to be installed, you could always try Gliffy.com. It's a Web 2.0 online replacement for Visio, and pretty nifty.
