The big story of yesterday, of course, is that Apple and The Beatles finally settled their trademark dispute.

Oh, and there was some sort of game on yesterday.  It occurs to me that I haven't successfully rooted for the winning team, in any major sport, since Aaron Boone's home run beat the Sox in 2003.  Which is kind of amazing.  I feel like Harvey Keitel in Reservior Dogs - "I feel like I'm fuckin' jinxed."  With the exception of the Yankees, none of the NY sports teams have been worth a damn in years, and when I decide to root for a team in a game I don't really care about - regardless of sport -  they pretty much always shit the bed.   So that's awesome.

This weekend was pretty mellow, all things considered - I've been fighting a stomach thing the whole time, although Friday night Kath and I made it to Jongre's apartment where he made us a stupendous dinner - Kath and I are still freaking out about the risotto.  That's one of the perks of having a trained, gourmet chef as a best friend - except, of course, that when he's actually working at a resteraunt, I never get to see him.  Extended Jongre hang time + astounding meal = good times.

In no mood for work today.  Ugh.
