I was all set to work on 6 Characters music last night, but the director and the editor were still working on a final edit, and after talking with them it didn't really make any sense for me to work in earnest when I wasn't going to be getting the actual finished edit until Sunday. So, instead, I screwed around in Reason. The more I mess around with it, the more intuitive it becomes, and it's actually quite a lot of fun.
Anyway, this little thing here is just something that happened last night as I was playing with drum loops. Someday I'll figure out how to properly arrange and orchestrate one of these types of things - this is just a 32-bar loop. I could extend this out very easily, without really doing very much except copying, pasting, cutting, etc., but I'm not sure it's that strong of an idea. In any event, it didn't take that long to make, but I like it anyway.
I (obviously) haven't yet figured out how to mix in Reason beyond setting levels, but I did figure out how to put it out into the world without having to import it into ProTools.
