IMDB has a great poll question today. And give me your favorite opening credits sequence, even if the movie doesn't have one. I thought I had an answer for this one, but it's eluding me at the moment, so I'll go with "Amelie" (in which young Amelie's actions reflect the duties of the named crewmember) until I can remember which one it is.

Poll #1027180 Opening Credits

Do you think the opening credits sequence (or lack thereof) is an important part of a film?

I do! In fact, I think a creative opening credits sequence can add a lot to a film.

Long day... not feeling all that great. Still obsessed with The Forms, and now I'm starting to get some song ideas brewing, which is exciting.
I'm a member of Oink's Pink Palace, which sounds like (and has the color scheme, sadly) of a porno site but is actually a heavily moderated music torrent site. A lot of industry scene folks are members, so advance albums tend to show up months and months beforehand. (I've been listening to the new Iron & Wine for about a month and a half, for example.)

Unfortunately, it's invite-only, and I haven't yet earned any invites of my own to give out, but when/if I do, I'll be sure to let you know. (In the meanwhile, if there's anything else you're looking for, and I have it, I'd be glad to Sendspace it.)
I've heard of that place - I've been curious how to get in.

I'd love to hear the Iron & Wine, and I think there was another Don Cab album you were telling me about. And again, thank you for hooking a brotha up.
