Via Your Daily Awesome, and this really is awesome, Desire Paths.

"Desire Path: A term in landscape architecture used to describe a path that isn’t designed but rather is worn casually away by people finding the shortest distance between two points."

These Desire Paths have brought back a flood of childhood memories. Which is entirely appropriate, since last night and this morning has seen my iPod shuffling up a slew of songs from The Sundays' "Reading Writing and Arithmetic", which had already firmly placed me back in 1989 anyway.
