Our plan for Valentine's Day was dinner at a fantastic local restaurant; we've eaten there a number of times already and we loved it.  I made reservations around 2 weeks ago; they told me there'd be a fixed menu, but they hadn't decided what the menu would be.

I called a short while ago to confirm my reservation, and also to see what the menu would be - Kath is a vegetarian now, and obviously it would do no good for me to spend gobs of money on a dinner she couldn't eat.  And it is a good thing I did call, because their menu for tonight is NOT vegetarian-friendly.

So, instead, we're going home, changing out of our fancy clothes, and going out to FINALLY see "No Country For Old Men."

BONUS and UNRELATED:  My copy of Velvet arrived today!  So.  Friggin.  Excited.  Now I have a bitchin' Fender Rhodes at my fingertips!
