I've been trying very hard to curb my spending habits this year, as Priority #1 is to get rid of my credit card debt.  Currently I'm a little over $3K, which is as low as it's been in years, but obviously not low enough.  I'm paying $250 every other week, which is just about as aggressive as I can get without starving to death.  More to the point, though, I'm refraining from making impulsive iTunes and Amazon purchases.

However, I did succumb last night and iTune'd Dosh, "The Lost Take".  Thank you, Stereogum, for fucking up my plans.  Check out "Um, Circles and Squares" on this page.  For those of you who don't know, Peter Dosh has been Andrew Bird's main collaborator of late, and Bird appears on "The Lost Take" more than a few times.

It should be noted, however, that I still have not purchased the new Raconteurs or the new Gnarls Barkley.

Kath is out tonight and tomorrow night; not quite sure yet how I'm filling those hours.

This week has been horrendously long and I would be more thrilled about it being Friday if I had any energy at all.

Hey Baird, are you still alive?

Finally, please to enjoy this absolutely fantastic video of a hunter getting his ass thoroughly kicked by a deer he was trying to kill.  Karmic retribution in action.
