This has absolutely nothing to do with this post, but I just had one of the most surreal experiences of my year, and believe it or not, you were involved.

So I'm sitting on my couch, minding my own business, watching the Patton Oswalt special on Comedy Central. They cut to a crowd shot, and there you are with your wife, laughing at a joke about hair bands. Not only were you sitting there, but I recognized you both, even though I've never met you in real life.

Crazy, man.

HA! Yeah, that's actually happened a few times to other friends of mine; they get to the hair band bit and then, suddenly, there we are, and I'm looking somewhat spastic.
I ran across that PF list this morning, and, having been ignorant of the music scene for a while, honestly could not judge if it was a April Fool's satire or not.
The new Black Keys is awesome I can vouch. The new R.E.M. is realy good although being saturated in the press makes me want to not like it...
