Was out sick yesterday; getting caught up today.

I have to post this article, as it is the greatest thing ever.  Any time you ever encounter a baseball fan - or, more to the point, a baseball announcer or writer (and I'm looking at you, John Sterling) who hates "new baseball statistics", please remember this article. 

Speaking of baseball, I guess I ought to be jazzed about tonight's Yanks/Sox game, but I can't quite get up for it.  Maybe it's because it's WAY TOO FUCKING EARLY IN THE SEASON FOR THE SOX AND YANKEES TO PLAY ANY MEANINGFUL GAMES.  Or maybe it's because, as per usual, the Yankees are playing shorthanded (Jeter and Posada are hurt, and the entire offense is asleep), as they always seem to be against the Sox. 

Anyway.  Still alive.  Back to work.
