5 Most Played Songs on your MP3 player of choice
(Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I should say that the top songs in this auto-generated playlist are songs I've written and recorded (and subsequently listened to over and over and over again, trying to find what went wrong). So I'm omitting those.
I'm also omitting multiple songs from the same album. As it turns out, I've listened to The Forms' s/t record on repeat at least 40 times, and in my iPod's list they are all bunched up together, so this "most-played" list wouldn't really make a lot of sense. In that case, I'll simply put the first song that shows up.
And the thing I should have said first is that my iPod only dates from last summer; my previous iPod's results would most likely be vastly different (i.e., lots of New Pornographers and Death Cab.) So these results are really only looking over the last 8 months of listening history.
Enough with the futzing: on with the list.)
1. Don Caballero, "Fire Back About Your New Baby's Sex"
2. St. Vincent, "Now Now"
3. The Forms, "Knowledge In Hand"
4. The Most Serene Republic, "The Men Who Live Upstairs"
5. French Kicks, "So Far We Are"
