Kath and I finally saw Indiana Jones last night, and we were joined by slimbiscuit and her husband-to-be, who were ever so kind to wait for Kath to be healthy enough to get out of the house. I can't necessarily speak for their experience, but I had already been warned about the sucktasticness and, to that end, I was, sadly, not let down. My friend Steve said it best (and I'm paraphrasing): "As soon as I saw a CG hedgehog within 5 seconds of the opening credits, I knew I was in trouble."
Kath is out and about tonight; I will be home, trying to finish MGS4 and fighting off what might be a cold. The dogs have been KILLING us all week. Normally, when it's bedtime, they sleep for a few hours in the hallway and then start crying and scratching anywhere between 2-5am. This week, however, they've started to cry and scratch within 15 minutes of me closing the door, and we've been at a loss to figure out how to get them to stop; even with earplugs and the rumble of the A/C, their high-pitched yelping still comes through.
Tech question for you: what's the best way to record a Skype call? I'm putting a podcast together with a friend who lives in Toronto; aside from us each recording our own audio and then editing it together, is there a standalone program that can do it? I tried HotRecorder, but it doesn't work; I'm tempted to buy Propaganda which is a pretty nice podcasting suite but I can't tell if it has that ability. Any help would be appreciated.
