Amy Poehler joining the cast of SNL is a good thing, even if the writers don't know it yet. I suspect that when you're an SNL rookie, you tend to get crappy parts until you've proven you have big-time stuff. 2 episodes in, she's already starting to get more prominently featured parts - her "porn star" bit the other night was easily the highlight of what was otherwise a really mediocre show, even if Will Ferrell did a whole segment wearing a red, white and blue thong.

Goddamn today is slow. And goddamn this company's internet service - nothing is loading, IM is busted, the whole thing is a goddamned travesty.

Tonight - was originally planning on going to Luna Lounge's comedy night but I think instead I'm gonna go home, not spend any money, and fix my sampler. Plus, kayhoe tells me that Jack Black will be on Who Wants to Be a Millionnaire tonight. I thought I'd be able to live my whole life without ever watching that show; I guess I'll have to be wrong.

Baseball playoffs start on Wednesday - A's vs. Yankees. Here's my bold prediction: if the Yankees can somehow beat the A's, they're gonna win the whole damn thing.
