Today has been dumb. kayhoe's been incredibly sick, and I wanted to talk to her, but the phone on my desk doesn't work, and I'm sitting in an incredibly crowded office today with no privacy - plus, today's supervisor's office is directly behind my desk, which means she has a direct view of my computer monitor, which means that I have to be incredibly resourceful at looking busy. Which I haven't been doing a good job of.

Just heard from my temp agency that I won't be working here for the rest of the week, either, so I'm really fucked for cash, considering I missed 2 days of work last week for jury duty. Hopefully they'll be able to hook me up with something else, but with the market the way it is, who knows.

Saw AbFab last night - wasn't nearly as funny as it used to be, I thought, and it was actually kinda sad. I can't really explain why.

I've been playing jongre's copy of Grim Fandango, which is a great great game. Also, reviews are coming in for the first wave of Xbox games, and they seem to be pretty good. Halo, for one, looks to be sick.

Shit. Just got a call from my temp agency - now I have to be at their office at 8:30am to maybe get some work. I left my book at home, which means it's gonna be a looooong morning.
