Back at work today, which is both great ($$) and dumb (I have nothing to do). I spent the last 2 days on my couch, playing Dreamcast until my thumbs blistered and swelled. I started getting these "eye-headaches", which I thought were Dreamcast-related but, as it turns out, are glasses-related. My glasses, specifically the right lens, are unbelievably scratched up - I'd offer up an appropriate metaphor, here, like "It's like looking through a cheese grater", but I really can't do it justice. Let's put it this way - they're hurting my eyes, badly. What's more, I don't know when I'll be able to get 'em replaced, because, of course, I'm still flat broke.

Speaking of being flat broke, Christmas time is around the corner. My mom will be celebrating Christmas next week, actually, when the family gets together for Thanksgiving. Ha ha!

Also speaking of being flat fucking broke, the Xbox was released yesterday. And lemme tell you this: at this rate, there is no chance of my getting one for at least another 5 or 6 months. Even with my birthday coming up - any money I get from that has to go directly into paying off various credit card-related debts.

Speaking of my birthday, I have a gig on my birthday, and I couldn't care less. This is not good. It's so not good, in fact, that I'm going to end this entry right here so I can avoid thinking about it.

One last note - it's nice to see suzycreamcheese posting again. Keep 'em coming, ya freak!

    1. It's still a bit surreal, to be sure. I have my flash recorder on me, which we used to record yesterday's songwriting session, and I listened to…
